Heavenfield

6 stars · A layered mystery, Northumberland atmosphere and a series arc that keeps getting more interesting.

Heavenfield worked for me because the mystery feels personal. Ryan’s investigation gives the story an emotional center while the Circle storyline keeps widening the world around him.

I loved the Northumberland atmosphere and the way the team and characters continue developing rather than resetting for a new installment. The mystery has layers, but the ongoing series questions matter just as much as the case in front of us.

Six stars on the AURA scale. This is the kind of series installment that makes the larger story feel even more worth following.
