Bad Boy Era

5 stars · Tattooed mountain bad boy, good girl, forced proximity and the kind of chemistry that turns one more chapter into 2 a.m.

I read Bad Boy Era across my Kindle Colorsoft and the audiobook, and the combination made it dangerously easy to keep going. The mountain-town setting is cozy, the banter works and the protective bad-boy energy is exactly as advertised.

I loved the grumpy-meets-sunshine dynamic and the way the chemistry builds through forced proximity instead of arriving fully formed. There are emotional beats underneath the spice, which kept the relationship from feeling like a collection of tropes wearing flannel.

Five stars. This was a very successful ‘one more chapter’ mistake.
